Bamboo Stalactite is a community space called Freespace that is open and free to all. The space is characterized by simplicity in structure and low production costs, and bamboo is used as the only material. The flexibility of bamboo allows for the project to be realized with limited resources, and it creates a space that is rich in its connection with nature. The pavilion comprises 11 modules, each shaped by the combination of 2 hyperbolic shell structures. The structure can be duplicated in other urban and rural areas and can be used as a space in a museum, a pavilion for a school, or just a space free and open to all in some countryside. Its potential is limitless, and it offers an undiscriminating space for all.
