Location: Bourbon Lancy, France.

Architect: AMD – Architectures Marc Dauber.

The Bourbon Lancy library is located in a social housing district that has been restructured. The building is built on the preserved foundations of a demolished R+3 housing building. The library offers various activities, including a children’s section, lending section, audio and video section, and a meeting room. The entrance is perpendicular to the building and access, and natural lighting is provided through windows on the north and east sides to avoid direct sunlight on the books. The interior is designed to create a calm and quiet atmosphere for studying and working.
