Momo’s new office in Beijing has the ideal breeding ground for creativity and invention, and as befits one of the fastest-growing mobile app startups in China, it naturally calls for an unorthodox design. Natural light diffuses through its numerous skylights in a horizontally interconnected geometric layout at different angles.

The two entrances give way to the airy interior, one of which is specifically designated for catwalks or popup performances as distinguished visitors are ready for the wonder within as they traverse a lengthy, secret trail with an origamic corridor with triangular skylights, these are particularly noteworthy. When the entryway opens up, multi-level decks emerge on both sides as useful seats for the open space in between, which doubles as an ad hoc stage furnished with track lights above, surprises are in store even with the typical entrance for day-to-day use.
