The H18 workspace aims to provide a warm and safe environment that feels like home, allowing for close relationships between people and their surroundings. The sloping roof and use of red brick walls create a traditional and environmentally conscious design. The middle of the two red brick walls is hollow, providing effective insulation and reducing energy waste. The west side wall uses German KANEKER technology to block air and radiant heat while preserving interaction between the outdoor and indoor environments. The building also features a small farm in front, promoting the concept of “grains and towns” and creating a harmonious living space for employees. The building prioritizes comfort with ample daylight through façade windows and skylights in the atriums. Energy-saving lamps and an automatic lighting system are used to reduce energy consumption, which is expected to reach 43kwh/m2a annually for cooling, heating, ventilation, plumbing, and lighting. The building follows the 3R principle of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, conserving old structures and walls while using demolished bricks and concrete in construction. Overall, the H18 workspace aims to provide a comfortable and environmentally conscious environment that feels like home, promoting close relationships between people and their surroundings.
