Thong Lo has become a popular area in Bangkok, with an increasing number of shops, restaurants, and residential projects. However, the area lacks green space. This project aims to preserve the existing rain trees on the site, which is a small plaza with a few shops. The design concept is to maintain the atmosphere and respect for the trees. The architect faced a challenge in keeping the trees due to the high land price. The solution was to separate the project into two buildings with different characters. The front building has a unique shape that reflects its multi-functions, including shading for pedestrians, access to underground parking, and facilities such as a swimming pool and green roof. The tower offers a corner view and cross ventilation for every unit. Luxury is emphasized in the design of the units, with a maximum of four units per floor, private elevators, and natural materials such as wood and stone. The tower is the tallest in the area, with a ratio of 1:10. The strategy of separating the project into two buildings allows for faster construction and more flexibility in unit layout, while also preserving the existing trees. Some trees remain in their original location, while others are relocated within the site.
