Architect: Ludwig Godefroy

Ludwig Godefroy, a Mexican architect who was born in France, has a special passion for design. He has received artistic sustenance from two separate nations. His primary source of inspiration is Mexico, where he both works and resides. As a result, he formed a tender yet emotional bond with Mexico, and in 2011, he made the decision to start Ludwig Godefroy Architecture, his own firm, there.

The “barbarist” home combines an indoor and outdoor experience for its occupants by integrating a garden and private pool with the living space. The master bedroom is located upstairs, and the second bedroom is located next to the main house’s outdoor living area. The sloping “roof” makes for a distinctive social space that is crucial for family interaction as you watch the sun go down.
