Location: Andermatt, Switzerland.

Architect: Studio Seilern Architects.

The Andermatt Concert Hall, the first significant purpose-built music hall in any Alpine ski community, debuted in 2019 with a special inauguration concert by the Berliner Philharmoniker and conductor Constantinos Carydi. The cosy 650-seat venue has a very adaptable stage that can accommodate a 75-piece orchestra. The same teams that designed the Philharmonie de Paris are responsible for the theatre’s acoustics and set design, respectively.
