The Blossom Street site, located in the Elder Street Conservation Area, is being redeveloped with a masterplan that takes a building-by-building approach to retain existing buildings while introducing new ones in a palette of materials appropriate to the area’s character. The plan aims to increase employment, improve the environment, and reconnect the site with the surrounding area. The office component will offer a range of office types and sizes to attract a variety of tenants, including tech and creative industries. Residential units, including affordable housing, will also be provided. The new public realm will enhance the existing streets and busy roads, with three new yard spaces drawing on the character of the surrounding historic blocks. AHMM is the masterplanner and lead architect, with three buildings designed by Stanton Williams, Duggan Morris Architects, and DSDHA.
