The Centro Cultural “Espaço Miguel Torga” is a cultural center that aims to study and promote the literary works of Miguel Torga. The building is defined by the characteristic shale walls of the region and is located south of an old fairground. It has two entrances, one for the public and one for service, and a direct entrance to the cafeteria. The fairground area is defined by the extension of the shale walls and is used for parking and as a fairground. The building has two floors, a total area of approximately 1315m2, and is constructed with reinforced concrete and shale from Foz-Côa. The interior walls are made of concrete and brick, and the roof is covered with shale.
