The Digital Beijing Building, nearly 100,000 square meters in area, serves as the control centre and data centre of the Beijing Olympics, 2008, and accommodates a virtual museum of the Digital Olympics and an exhibition centre for manufacturers of digital products. It was developed through reconsideration and reflection on contemporary architecture in the era of digits and information and is a symbol of the Digital Olympics and of the information era.
