The new building of the Eugeny Primakov Gymnasium is designed with a focus on the intermediary space during breaks, which is seen as the centrepiece of the school. The Central Space is a vast courtyard that is visible from almost any point in the building and serves as a place for various social activities. It can also be converted into a hall for up to one thousand seats for events such as concerts, student conferences, and dramatic performances. The Central Space is covered by a skylight system that floods the space with soft reflected light and occasional beams of direct sunlight.
