Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Architect: Powerhouse
By developing a room that embodies the company’s ideals, such as transparency, inclusivity, and high quality, Powerhouse were able to win the pitch to design this interior in 2018. We adhered to the architectural guidelines of the hourglass-shaped skyscraper by Dam & Partners to create this design.
The architectural firm moulded an open environment that warmly welcomes customers and staff while striking a wonderful balance with the more intimate and condensed office spaces needed for legal work by reshaping and softening the magnificent main atrium of the design. The Hourglass develops a new model for law firms by emphasizing approachability, appeal, and traditional trustworthiness in addition to traditional trustworthiness.
The interior of the law office must balance a variety of requirements, including this type of inviting public space for clients, areas for staff gatherings and socializing, and private workspaces for legal work. Since maintaining secrecy is still crucial, many of the 750 workstations are arranged in private spaces. These are meticulously arranged yet are still adaptable for future configuration adjustments. For support activities that require less privacy, we built more open working areas between these organized offices, such as in the corners of each level.
