La Grande Passerelle is a cultural hub located in the centre of Saint-Malo, France. It was designed by Architecture-Studio and includes a media library, an art-house cinema, a media centre, and a multiuse space called “4e lieu”. The facilities complete the urban renewal movement of Saint-Malo and create a new hub at the heart of the three communities. The town is a notorious tourist attraction and hosts three important cultural events each year: “Etonnants Voyageurs”, “Quai des Bulles”, and “La Route du Rock”. These events are nationally and internationally renowned and are part of the city’s influence and dynamism. La Grande Passerelle is the new cultural icon of Saint-Malo and is immediately seen by travellers arriving from the TGV station.
