Le Flow is a cultural center in Lille that aims to promote and support artistic practices from the streets, particularly those related to hip hop culture. The building was designed to maintain a connection between hip hop and the urban environment, with transparent walls that allow for views of the surrounding area. The building is located in the Maison Folie de Moulins, and the design incorporates the existing brick facade with a new perforated steel wall that connects to the new building. The center has four levels, with each level dedicated to a specific function, including reception, music studios, administration, dance, and graffiti art. The ground floor includes a performance space that encourages interaction between artists and the audience. The building also features the first digital glass facade of its kind. The design of Le Flow creates a landmark in the urban landscape while providing a space for artists to create and showcase their work.
