The design of the hotel showcases the cultural charm of the historic town with a modern twist. The inspiration behind the design is the mountains, which adds an element of fun and adventure to the hotel. The lobby is designed in a dark timber tone with screens that add to the steady style. The acrylic mountains at the entrance and end of the lobby offer a mystic and blurry hill view through water vapor after a nice rain. The lobby is designed to represent the Zhongshan landform of plains, hills, and rich water systems. The reception counters are free-standing and take the reflection of mountains in the water, adding a feature of fun and creativity. The lounge is designed with high-back chairs and grilled screens of Chinese style enclosed, creating a library-like atmosphere for people with creativity. The guest rooms are designed to be calm and comfortable with simple lines and clear-cut blocks in subdued colors. The screening at the foyer provides a fresh visual excitement by emulating and simplifying the pierced door panels of ancient Zhongshan buildings. The bathroom and bedroom are separated with translucent grill partitions instead of solid division, making the view of the room deeper and airier.
