The Nouvelle Odeon is a contemporary cinema designed by Matali Crasset for Haut & Court in Saint-Germain-des-Près. It was bought by Haut et Court in March 2009 and renovated with the support of the City of Paris, the CNC, and the Ile-de-France region. It has 120 seats and is mono-screen. The interior design was inspired by hospitality, modularity, and appropriation. The NOUVEL ODEON is designed to offer intimacy, warmth, and image and sound conditions worthy of a large multiplex hall.
It is equipped with the best sound and image technologies, a 7m40 base and 3m high screen, numbered seats, an online reservation system, and an elevator leading to the tasting area. It is accessible on one level from the street and is one of the few cinemas in the Latin Quarter accessible to people with reduced mobility.
