Location: Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
Architect: Koffi & Diabaté Architectes.
The architects decided to create a massive, futuristic-looking skyscraper with 7 floors and 68-meter-diameter rings as part of a sustainable architectural approach. With a double skin holding both thermal and aesthetic functions, the new Orange Côte d’Ivoire headquarters is innovative in its shape, suggestive of a golf ball.
The centre terrace, which serves as an initial landmark for guests and lets natural light into the entire structure, is where the atrium opens up from the entry.
The conference centre, common meeting and training rooms, the café, and the gym are all located on the garden level.
There are several types of workspaces on the higher levels, including private offices, modest conference spaces, and sizable coworking facilities (with private areas specifically designed for small group meetings or individual cubicles).
With the exception of level 4, every floor has an outdoor area where workers can work or unwind while admiring the magnificent surroundings. The top management’s offices are located on the top floor of the headquarters, which has a stunning view of the lagoon beach.
