The Halles de Saint-Gilles, built in 1912, are a historic public building that have lost their commercial activity due to modern lifestyles and the rise of large-scale retail. However, the building’s architectural quality remains intact. The challenge of the project is to bring public activity back to the building and take advantage of its strategic location in the historic center of Saint-Gilles.
