ALHOSN TAKESHI’S CASTLE is a sports and entertainment TV show that originated in Japan in the 1980s. It is now being presented by the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia on a 100,000m2 site near the Tuwaiq Mountains, southeast of Riyadh. The site has historic value as it is located on a camel trail that dates back 5,000 years, and a proposal has been developed to highlight this value. The land contours and topography have been carefully analysed to assist in the design of the masterplan. The project is expected to attract tourists to the area.
