Architect: WSP, Innovation Imperative.
The hotel will be an expansion of Innovation Imperative’s earlier idea, the Tetra Shed modular office pod, and will be built in a spectacular location. It will be autonomous and carbon neutral, with sustainable agriculture and forest management at its core. Cape Verde, Norway, Canada, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Hungary, and the UK are now being considered as venues. This summer will see the introduction of the first hotel location, followed by others.
The new WSP Design Studio and the acclaimed architect will team up for the first time on the hotel. WSP’s skilled early career professionals built The Design Studio as a platform for architects to gain engineering support for their innovative ideas, whether they are for competitions, design features, or simply ideas that need some technical support.
