Location: Berlin, Germany.
Architect: John Pawson.
Opened in 2016, Berlin houses The Feuerle Collection museum. The Feuerle Collection is sited in a former communications bunker that was rebuilt by British architect John Pawson. It features works by international contemporary artists such as Zeng Fenzhi, Cristina Iglesias, and Anish Kapoor alongside Imperial Chinese furniture and Southeast Asian art. The museum promotes dialogue between many historical eras and cultural groups by providing an alternate interpretation of the ancient, which gives viewers a fresh perspective on the artworks and takes them through a synesthetic experience.
