Location: Shenzhen, south east China

The Nest Art Center was intended as a continuation of significant art spaces developed in communities surrounding the Greater Bay Area from the very beginning of its creation (consisting of Hong Kong, Macao, and nine cities in Guangdong). It strives to serve not just as a location to view art but also as an important symbol of the times. Its architectural, interior and functional space design concepts have been created to an international quality.
The building, which is described by its designer as “an egg emerging from a cocoon,” is instantly recognizable by its circular structure enclosed within a glazed frame facing the street. It creates an independent yet connected interaction with the surroundings. It tries to create a special, carefully thought-out space by attempting to reflect the concepts of innovation, independence, and distinction. At the same time, the “egg” shape of the room lends itself naturally to the required purpose. The Center seeks to be a true incubator for businesses by mixing corporate conferences, roadshows, cocktail parties, etc. into one diverse building. It also wants to give businesses an excellent platform from which to make their public debut.
