The Winter Park Library & Events Center is a civic and cultural hub located on the northwest corner of Martin Luther King, Jr. Park. It is composed of a two-story library, an event center with rooftop terrace, and a welcome portico. The pavilions are composed of rose-pigmented concrete and rest on a raised belvedere that provides views onto Lake Mendsen. The library features collection spaces accessible to all ages and abilities, interactive youth and children areas, an indoor auditorium, maker-spaces and technology portals, an entrepreneurship center, and continuing education spaces.
The event center features a flexible auditorium space and a rooftop terrace. Both buildings feature a signature sculptural stair to create parity between the civic library space and the commercially focused event center.
